Post-doctorate in Education by the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Goiás, PUC-GO), Brazil. Professor-researcher of the Postgraduate Program in Education of the University of Uberaba (Master’s and Doctorate), Brazil. Leader of the Group of Studies and Research in Instruction, Development and Education (Grupo de Estudios y Pesquisas en Instrucción, Desarrollo y Educación, GEPIDE), registered with the CNPq (Brazil). Coordinator of the Core-Brazil of the Network of Studies on Education (Red de Estudios sobre Educación, REED).
Research in the areas of Epistemology, Didactics, Teaching Work and Teacher Training. Articles, chapters and own books have been published in Cuba, Brazil, Chile, Spain, Portugal, Peru and Mexico. Former Professor of the University of Sancti Spíritus (UNISS), Cuba. In 2006 he was visiting professor at the Triangle University Center (UNITRI) in Uberlandia, MG. He was a Visiting Professor at the Federal University of the Mineiro Triangle (UFTM), an institution where he coordinated the proposal for the implementation of the Postgraduate Program in Education at that University. He is currently Professor-Researcher of the Postgraduate Program in Education (Master’s and Doctorate) at the University of Uberaba (UNIUBE). He has a grant from the Mineiro Research Program (PPM).
