Director of Virtual Educa's Observatory of Virtual Education in Latin America and the Caribbean
Specialist in Latin American higher education. Currently Claudio is the Academic Director (Universidad de la Empresa) in Uruguay, Level II researcher (SNI), Director of the Virtual Education Observatory of Latin America and the Caribbean Virtual Educa and Advisor to the National Open and Distance University (UNAD) Colombia. Has a Degree as an Economist; Distance Education Specialist; Marketing Specialist; Master in Educational Management; Doctor of Education; Doctor of Law and 4 Post-doctorates. He has written 26 books on education topics and dozens of articles published in journals. Claudio obtained the Uruguayan National Literature Prize three times and was distinguished with 7 Honoris Causa Doctorates by several universities in the region. He is also a prominent collector of Latin American ethnographic masks.
